James' earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall their be anymore pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. James Mack.

James Elmo Mack Jr. was born June 10, 1961 to the late James Elmo Mack Sr and Novella Ratliff Mack. He departed this life on January 24, 2015 at UAMS Intensive care unit. James gave his life to God at an age and attended the Evangelist Temple House of Refuge COGIC. James attended Dunbar High School in Little Rock and later transferred overseas to live with his sister Cynthia Mack-Thomas, where he graduated high from East Berlin High Scool in Germany. While there he was on the football and mat wrestling team. James later moved back to Arkansas where he worked for Little Rock Country Club and the Excelsior Hotel for many years as waiter/bartender. James later met and married Aline Colston and to this union one son was born James Elmo Mack III. After this union, James moved back to Conway and married Terri Mosby and to this union two sons were born Brandon Mosby-Mack and Travis Mack. While in Conway James worked for the City of Conway as a sanitation technician and Kelly Produce Co for many years.
James was a man with a big heart that never met a stranger. Everywhere he went and everyone he met he left a part of himself that will never be forgotten. James was preceded in death by his parents; James Elmo Mack Sr and Novella Ratliff Mack, sister; Ruth Ann Ratliff-Reed and brother; Albert Ratliff. James leaves to celebrate his homegoing, sons; Dr. Brandon (Tramell) Mack of Jacksonville, FL; James Mack III of Little Rock, AR and Travis Deon Mack of New Orleans, LA, one stepson; Terrance Crenshaw of Maumelle, AR. two step daughters; Tomika and Myisha Colston of Little Rock, AR. one sister; Cynthia Mack-Thomas of North Little Rock, AR. two brothers; Benjamin and Theopolus Ratliff of Little Rock, AR. 2 grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, January 31, 2015, 11:00 AM at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 East, Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 30, 2015 from 12 noon to 7 PM at Veasley Funeral Home.
