Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Anthony Wayne Cook was born November 8, 1964 in Conway, Arkansas to the late Betty Jo Winston Cook and Robert Lewis Cook.
On the evening of August 30, 2024, the angels of Heaven came and whispered the sweet sound of glory in his ears and said, “sweet child of mine, come on up and receive your crown”.
Anthony attended church faithful until he fell ill. He participated on the Deacon ministry. Also, he worked faithfully beside his Pastor, Glen D. Winston on a daily basis. He loved his pastor and his church family.
Anthony was preceded in death by his loving mother, Betty Jo Winston Cook; brother, Kerry Lewis Cook; paternal grandparents, Wade and Charlotte Winston, and fraternal grandparents, Cleveland and Willie Mae Cook.
Anthony leaves to cherish his memories, his son, D’Vonte Anfernee Cook; dad, Robert Lewis Cook; sisters, Delene (Robert) Stubbs of Mayflower, Arkansas, Charlene Fuller; brothers, Cleve (Melissa) Fitzgerald Cook, Robert Selester (Pamela) Cook of Conway, Arkansas; seven nieces; two nephews; four great-nieces; four great-nephews and a host of relatives and friends.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, September 6, 2024 from 6:00pm to 7:00pm at Anointed and Appointed Disciples Church, 350 Salem Rd., Conway, Arkansas 72034.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, 2:30pm at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 E., Conway, Arkansas 72032.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Sinai Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
