Avery’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Avery "Hot Foot" Donald, III was born on November 28, 1954 to the late Avery, Jr. "Son" and Delcenia Donald in Morrilton, Arkansas. He joined Union Chapel Methodist Church at an early age. He attended Guy Perkins School District and and graduated in 1973. After graduation, Avery joined the United States Army where he served three years of duty. After serving in the military, he pursued the occupation of Cement Masonry where he became a Journeyman working various jobs throughout the state of Arkansas and the state of Maine. Later in life, he united and was baptized November 30, 2014 at Mt. Carmel Missionary Baptist Church in Plumerville, Arkansas under the leadership of Rev. Doctor David Cox.
Avery was preceded in death by four siblings, Georgia Faye Donald, Charles Sullivan, Archie Lee Donald, and Glenda M. Donald.
Avery leaves to cherish his loving memory, two sons, Avery, IV and Anthony Donald both of Morrilton, Arkansas; daughter, Averyona Donald of Menifee, Arkansas; five grandchildren; four siblings, Zelma (Larry) Polk of Sherwood, Arkansas, Gail Robinson of Conway, Arkansas, Eric Stanley Donald of Plumerville, Arkansas, Helen Brown of Conway, Arkansas and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives and friends.
Walk through visitation will be held Friday, February 11, 2022 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 12, 2022, 11:00am at New Generation Church, 1000 Holiday Dr., Conway, Arkansas 72034.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery, 1501 Maryland Ave, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72120.
