In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Rosbia family. Bervine's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Bervine Rosbia.

Our beloved, Bervine Johnson Rosbia was born May 20, 1944 in Cleveland, Arkansas to the late William (Bill) Johnson and the late Josie McDaniel Johnson. She departed this life on August 3, 2024 in Morrilton, Arkansas.
She confessed a hope in Jesus Christ and joined Moore's Chapel A.M.E. Zion Church in Cleveland, Arkansas where she faithfully attended. After she got married, she joined the Greater Union Hill Baptist Church in Morrilton, Arkansas and became a part of the Greater Union Hill Church Choir. She inspired and encouraged a love for music and her children.
Bervine married the love of her life, Willard James (June) Rosbia, who preceded her in death and to this union, five children were born.
Bervine was taught at home to prepare meals for her family in which she dutifully continued to do in her married life. She loved to make desserts - cakes, pies, etc. She loved her family and she took pride in providing for her family.
She worked at Crompton Mills, Arrow Automotives, Morrilton Manor Nursing Home, Brookridge Nursing Home, and South Conway County School District.
She leaves to cherish her memories her four children, Bernice (Jimmy) Young, Teresa Faye Rosbia-Laws, Willie (Moon) Rosbia, Cory (Jennifer) Rosbia; two brothers, Carl (Myree) Johnson, Rev. Willie (Margaret) Johnson; ten grandchildren; ten great grandchildren; her favorite nephew, Andre Foster and a host of friends and relatives.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Willard James (June) Rosbia; daughter, Ester Marie Virgil; grandson, Kenneth Virgil; son-in-law, Jimmy Young; son-in-law Kenneth Virgil; four brothers-in-law, Leroy Rosbia, Jessie Rosbia, Robert Earl Rosbia, Herman Rosbia, Lee Allen Stricklen; sis sisters-in-law, Louise Garrett, Bernice Foster, Catherine Stricklen, Corrine Payne, Melinda Lafayette, and Louisa McDowell.
Walk trough visitation will be held Friday, August 9, 2024 from 12:00pm to 5:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life will be held Saturday, August 10, 2024, 11:00am at Greater Union Hill Baptist Church, 58 Sandtown Rd., Morrilton, Arkansas.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Owens Cemetery, Plumerville, Arkansas.
