In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Williams family. Dorothy’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Dorothy Mae Williams.

Dorothy Mae Williams came into this world on January 14th, 1941. Born to Joseph and Corrine Robinson in Parkin, Arkansas. She gave her life to Christ at an early age while serving and believing in the Lord until her last breath. She United in holy matrimony in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Ezekiel Williams (1938-2019) which yielded two children, the late Dorothy Louise Foster (1966-1994) and Curtis Williams. They were married a blessed 40 plus years until 2019. They lived a simple but good life that provided for all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She had a great career at St. Vincent’s Hospital where she made many colleagues and friends along the way until her retirement. She lived the rest of her years enjoying her family, being sassy, and cooking her famous meals. She fought a lengthy battle with kidney disease and ultimately succumbed peacefully at Baptist Medical Center in Little Rock, Arkansas.
Dorothy leaves behind cherished memories with Curtis (Ashley) Williams; Temesha (Fabian) Tyler; Gavin (Alicia Smith) Foster; a host of great-grandchildren, sisters, brothers, cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, colleagues, associates and many that have made the heavenly journey before her. When God says :take your rest”, you job was “well done”.
Visitation for family and friends will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, from 9:00am to 10:00am At First Baptist Church, 2015 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, February 25, 2023, 10:00am at First Baptist Church, 2015 Main Street, North Little Rock, Arkansas 72114.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Rest In Peace Memorial Gardens Cemetery, Hensley, Arkansas.
