Evelyn Marie Phillips was born July 21, 1957 to the late Wilbert and Edith Phillips in Little Rock, Arkansas. She departed this life on January 18, 2025. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Sharon Baptist Church in Alexander, Arkansas under the leadership of the late Pastor Clarence Jackson. Evelyn later joined True Holiness Saints Center under the leadership of Pastor E.C. Maltbia in 1993. Evelyn was a long time and dedicated employee for South Western Bell Telephone Company (AT&T) and retired with 36 years of service in 2014. Evelyn was a woman who stood strong in her faith and allowed God to be the light that guided her path. Evelyn leaves to cherish her loving memory, children, Derrick (Anndrea) Veasley, Erika Veasley; four grandchildren, Ethan "Tank" Mitchell, Nathan Veasley, Jaxson Veasley, Emory Veasley; two sisters, Wilma (Austin) Reese, Barbara Phillips-Brown; niece, Lisa Brown; nephew, Chuck (Tamara) Metcalf, their children, Zayna, Amara, Miranda all of Little Rock, Arkansas, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Celebration of life service will be held Sunday, January 26, 2025, 1:30pm at True Holiness Saints Center, 198 Hwy 286 E., Conway, Arkansas 72032.

Committal service and final resting place will be held at Forest Hills Cemetery, 10200 AR-5, Alexander, AR 72002.
