Freda Janette Enoch-Gordon was a blessing from God on Sunday, January 17, 1967 to Marjorie (Wesley) Enoch and the late Freddie Enoch in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She was likewise called by God to take her eternal rest on Monday, August 8, 2022 also from Fort Smith. She also was preceded death by one of her sisters: Debbie Enoch.

Freda accepted Jesus as her personal Savior and was baptized at an early age at Mallalieu Methodist Episcopal Church. Later in life, she chose to be baptized at New Life Church of God in Christ. Her education started in Hawaii and Colorado. She finished her education in the Fort Smith Public School System: Howard Elementary, Kimmons Junior High, and Northside High schools. She graduated with the Class of 1986. She worked at Hardees, Tyson, and for 26 years at Rheem Manufacturing, Inc. Much later in life, she became a member of New Covenant International Christian Center; she truly loved the LORD and her church family. She was a Sunday School Teacher, Usher/Door Greeter and a true worshipper.

Freda enjoyed her family. She was a sweet, loving, kind-hearted, mild-mannered who would give the shirt off her back. She would always try to find “the good” in everyone. Her favorite quote was “I love all my cousins”. She also enjoyed travelling and shopping with her sisters at the thrift stores (she was a thrift store queen). She will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity of knowing her in life.

Freda will be forever remembered and treasured by her mother: Marjorie Enoch of Fort Smith, Arkansas; sister: Yolanda (Carl) Campbell of Fort Smith, Arkansas; brother: Carl (Merrita) Reed of Seattle, Washington; son: James of Fort Smith, Arkansas; two nieces: LaCrea (Nicholas) Crawford of Richardson, Texas and JaTyra Campbell of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three nephews: Eric (ShaTerra) Wilson II of Tulsa, Oklahoma, Jevoris (Ariel) Campbell and Jaymal Campbell both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; a great niece: Harmanie Wilson; two great nephews: Jeremiah Wilson and Carter Myles Crawford; three bonus sisters: Tammy Dean-Austin, Ujima Brown and Terri Price all three of Fort Smith, Arkansas; five bonus nieces: Asthon Dean, LeNea Brewer, DeNea Brewer all of Fort Smith, Arkansas, Shawnika Jones of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma and Shameila Jones of Fort Smith, Arkansas; five bonus nephews: Terry Harris, Jr., Dalvin Moore, Sr., Shawn Jones, Jr., Shaquille Jones and Shakari Jones all of Fort Smith, Arkansas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins and many friends that will truly miss her loving smile and caring heart.
