Together her and her husband invested in their first ice cream truck and became staples in the community volunteering at the head Start program and advocating with Operation Breadbasket and local leaders like Jesse Jackson. Geneva organized neighbors to prepare weekly meals and social activities for the seniors in her building serving as a floor captain, and especially delighted everyone with her famous peach cobbler. She cherished her family and found immense joy in her children’s lives.Geneva’s legacy is deeply rooted in the love she shared as a mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend.
