In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Taylor Family. Judith's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mother Judith Taylor.

A daughter, a mother, a sister, a grandmother, a beautiful aunt and a devoted wife. A true disciple and servant. Judith Ann Cowan Taylor was all these things and more. She was born September 21,1941 to the late William G. and Lula Mae Otis Cowan in Conway, Ar. She accepted Christ at an early age uniting with Christ Temple Holiness Church where she remained a faithful member until further down the road when she united with Trinity Temple Family Fellowship Church. She attended Pine Street School and graduated in the class of 1959.


She was united in holy matrimony to Clarence E, Whitworth Sr. to this union six daughters were born. She later married Little Johnny Taylor. To this union, no children were born.


She was proceeded in death by her husband Little Johnny Taylor; her daughter, Francis Lurlene Stewart; her parents,; two grandsons, William Tyus and Edgel Tyus; one great great-grandson, Lawerence Embry Jr.; two sisters Ruth Cowan Parish and Margaret Cowan Turner.


She worked at Faulkner County Day School for several years, Conway Human Developement Center (known at that time as The Children's Colony), Arkansas State Normal School (now known as the University of Central Arkansas) just to name a few. She was a hard worker and a provider all her life until her health no longer allowed her to do so.


She leaves to cherish her memory five daughters, Lula M.Tyus of Conway Ar.; Judith A Lee of Fort Smith Ar.; Mildred (Theodis) Mitchell; Vickie L. (Wendell Sr,) Williams; Gwendolyn L Whitworth and one special god daughter, Edna Jolivette

all of Conway, Ar. Mama Ann also claimed four sons, Clarence Whitworth Jr.; Pastor Larry Daniels; Louis Hampton, all of Conway, Ar. and Benjamin S. M. Withworth of Wooster, Ar. She had eighteen grandchildren. She also leaves one sister, Mildred Cowan Bryant of Conway, Ar.; and one brother, Earl Cowan of Sherwood, Ar.; as well as her special sister-in-law, Helen Patterson of St Louis, Mo.; two other sister-in-laws, Sarah Wilson of Sherwood, Ar. and Asa Gilbert of St Louis, Mo.


Walk through visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, September 15, 2023 from 12:00pm to 6:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, September 16, 2023, 11:00am at Christ Temple Holiness Church of Christ, 868 Willow St., Conway, Arkansas 72032.


Committal service and final resting place will be held at Robinson Cemetery, Conway, Arkansas.
