Kokelia’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Kokelia Brown-Greenlaw.

Kokeila Quianna Brown (aka Jennie) was born on March 27, 1985 in Little Rock, Arkansas (University of Arkansas Medical Sciences) to Dietrick (Priscilla) Lynn Greenlaw and the late Juanita Brown Brewer (Wade). She was the oldest of eight siblings. Her divine appointment set by God at creation was honored on Sunday, February 20, 2022. Kokeila accepted Christ at an early age and joined Zion Grove Baptist Church in Twin Groves, Arkansas where she remained a faithful member. She was very active in other auxiliaries in the church and was a very dedicated usher. Also, she was very active in the Cypress Creek District Young People’s Department. She graduated from Guy Perkins High School in 2003 and furthered her education by completing courses at University of Arkansas Community College at Morrilton. At Guy Perkins she was active in the athletic department, here she played basketball, softball, and co-ed ball. In her leisure time she coached the peewee basketball team and she was a volunteer coach. Her passions were spending time with her family and friends and cooking. Kokeila was employed for fourteen years at Greenbrier Nursing and Rehabilitation. Her most recent employment was with Conway Regional Medical Center where she was a proud member of the Conway Regional’s team until her passing. Since her hiring at Conway Regional she received over 100 recognitions and merits (Star Cards, One Team Rewards).
Kokeila is preceded in death by her great grandparents Linton and Eula Taylor, Willie C Washington Sr and her grandfather Rev. Nathaniel Brown.
Kokeila leaves to cherish her memory with her beautiful children, Shelbee Katherine Brown and Gatllin Austin Manuel, whom she loved with all her heart, and a long time special friend Leslie Manuel. Her loving devoted grandparents, Vanteen Brown, Jean (David) Carolina, James (Mattie) Brewer; five brothers, Kendrick Hill, Dietrick Greenlaw II, Darius Greenlaw, Quamae (Jeymi) Greenlaw, and Jordan Greenlaw; three sisters Miesha I Brewer, Shanice Greenlaw, and CorRhonda Greenlaw; eight aunts, Yvetta (Anthony) Hood, Vanessa Mosbly, Kathy Brown, Tina Brown, Hilda Brown, Cheryl Greenlaw, Lekebra Greenlaw, and Vanessa (David) Patterson. She also leaves behind a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Walk through visitation for family and friends will be held Friday, March 4, 2022 from 12:00pm to 7:00pm at Veasley Funeral Home.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, March 5, 2022, 12:00pm at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church, 1514 US Hwy 65, Twin Groves, Arkansas 72039.
Committal service and final resting place will be held at Twin Groves Cemetery, Twin Groves, Arkansas.
