In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Doyle family. LaTonya’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. LaTonya Renee Doyle.

LaTonya Renee Doyle was a gift from God on Friday, November 21, 1975 to Shirley Triplett and the late David Rockamore in Chicago, Illinois. She was also called by God to take her eternal rest on Thursday, March 9, 2023 in Fort Smith, Arkansas. LaTonya was also preceded in death by her twin brother: Samuel and another brother: David.


LaTonya was a graduate of Northside High School in Fort Smith, Arkansas. She pursued a career in the Healthcare Industry as a Certified Nursing Assistant for many years until her health failed. She loved her job and those she cared for throughout the years.


LaTonya was a member of New Morning Star Missionary Baptist Church in Moffett, Oklahoma, but she attended Greater New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Sallisaw, Oklahoma under the direction of Pastor James D. Jones.


LaTonya loved the simple pleasures of life: a good cheeseburger and fries, a tasty pizza, and long quiet walks. She was a great daughter, sister, aunt and niece.


LaTonya will be forever cherished by her mother: Shirley Triplett of Fort Smith, Arkansas and her brother: James (Elizabeth) Russell of New Mexico and a host of aunts, uncles, other family members and friends.


Celebration of life service will be held Monday, March 13, 2023 at 10:30 a.m. at New Covenant International Christian Center 4400 North N Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
