Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Lincoln Aaron was a gift from God on Saturday, June 8, 1940 to the late Frank and Julia (Griffin) Aaron in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was called to take his eternal rest on Thursday, January 21, 2021 to be with his Lord. He was also preceded in death by a grandchild, Rodney Walker and a sister, Doris Mays.
Lincoln professed his hope in Christ at an early age at Fairview Christian Methodist Episcopal Church in North Little Rock, Arkansas. He was educated in the Pulaski County School District in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Later in life, he united with the House of Prayer and Praise Missionary Baptist Church in Fort Smith, Arkansas under the leadership Senior Pastor Andrew Robertson.
Lincoln truly loved and supported his family. He was laid-back guy; he would remain clam in every situation that came his way in life. His two famous phrases were “Whoop Dee Doo” and “Take a chill pill, Jill”, and everyone knew it. He will be greatly missed by those who treasured and appreciated him in life.
Lincoln leaves to cherish is memories the love of his life and friend, Lou Ella Aaron of Dardanelle, Arkansas; two sons, LaMark Dewayne Aaron of San Francisco, California and Elgin Rayshawn Aaron of Flint, Michigan; two daughters, Lasauana Aaron-Pigg of North Little Rock, Arkansas and LaKonnia (John) Davis of Fort Smith, Arkansas; nine grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lonnie Aaron of Maumelle, Arkansas, Rozell Aaron of Oakland, California, and Michael Aaron of Jonesboro, Georgia; six sisters, Mae Bernard of Little Rock, Arkansas, Arthella Edwards of Phoenix, Arizona, Florestine Perkins, Frankie Davis, Anester Aaron, Phyllis Thrist all of North Little Rock, Arkansas, a host of nephews and nieces, other relatives, and friends.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday January 30, 2021 at 11 a.m. at House of Prayer & Praise Missionary Baptist Church Fort Smith, Arkansas 72904.
Committal service and final resting place will be held Monday, February 1, 2021 at 1 p.m. at the Fort Smith National Cemetery in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
