Linda’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Ms. Linda Faye Mays.

Linda Faye Mays was a blessing from God to the late Frazier & Altha (Evans) Bell, Sr. on Wednesday, April 2, 1952 in Portland, Oregon. She was called to take her eternal rest on Monday, November 23. 2020. She was also preceded in death by a son, Steven Anthony Mays and her two brothers, Ronald Gentry and Frazier Bell, Jr.
Linda was educated in the Fort Smith Public Schools. She graduated from Northside High School in the Class of 1970. She also attended and graduated from the Baptist Nursing School in Little Rock, Arkansas. She worked as a Licensed Practical Nurse for over 40 years in the Little Rock area.
Linda was a loving, caring person with a big heart. She truly loved her family and always extended her love to all she connected with in life. She was helpful to all; she had no problems giving to anyone in need. When she had time, she loved baking and watching “Do-It-Yourself” shows. She will be greatly missed by all who loved and treasured her presence in life.
Linda leaves to cherish her memories a son, James Lamont Mays of North Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Norma Gary and Beverly Norwood both of Fort Smith, Arkansas; three grandchildren, Shatanna Lee, Denver Mays, and Monrico Lee; four great-grandchildren, Braea Thomas, Ariyah Lee, Christopher Mays, and Damarrion Cole, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
