Sedrick’s earthly temple is now resting in the care of Rowell-Parish Mortuary. Revelations 21:4 says "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Mr. Sedrick Morrell Thomas.

Sedrick Morrell Thomas was a gift from God on Monday, March 3,1975 to Cathy Ann Bunch and Calvin Thomas in Fort Smith, Arkansas. He was also called by God to take his eternal rest on Sunday, October 31, 2021 from his home in Fort Coffee, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by a sister: Alayna Thomas.
Sedrick was educated in the Spiro Public School System. After graduating from Spiro High School in 1993, he attended one year of college at The University of Central Oklahoma. He majored in Chemistry. At an early age in life, he joined Faith Temple Church of God in Christ in Murry Spur, Oklahoma.
Sedrick adorned his nieces and nephews. He also loved going to the movies, cooking, reading, writing short Internet stories and watching Anime. He was a published author and his book was recently published on Amazon on June 17, 2018. He will truly be missed by all who adored and appreciated his presence throughout his life.
Sedrick will be forever cherished by his mother and step-father: Cathy (Phillip) Mack of Spiro, Oklahoma; father: Calvin Thomas of Fort Smith, Arkansas; five sisters: LaKeia (Kelvin) Robinson of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, Denise Thomas of Spiro, Oklahoma, Philicea (Kenny) Randle of Spiro, Oklahoma, Christien (Joshua) Sutherland and Ashley Thomas all three of Fort Smith, Arkansas, six nieces, two nephews, uncles, aunts, a host of cousins and the family dog: Artemis.
Visitation will be Friday, November 5, 2021 from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Rowell-Parish Mortuary 611 North 9th Street Fort Smith, Arkansas 72901.
Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, November 6, 2021 at 11 a.m. at First Assembly of God 1000 Southwest 3rd Street Spiro, Oklahoma 74959.
Committal service and final resting place will be at the Fort Coffee Cemetery Fort Coffee, Oklahoma.
