Scotty Brown was born in July of 1966 to parents Earline Shepherd Brown and ML Brown, at Reynolds Army Hospital in Lawton, Oklahoma. He entered into eternal rest on January 12, 2025. He was preceded in death by his mother and brother, Bruce Brown.
Because Scotty’s father was in the military, he spent his childhood living in various places, such as Germany, Colorado and Arkansas. His family finally settled in Roland, Oklahoma when he was a teenager. He graduated from Roland High School, where he played football. As an adult, he made his home in Fort Smith, Arkansas where he worked as a maintenance worker.
Scotty had an adventurous spirit and lived life boldly and unapologetically. He had an incredible sense of humor and charm. He had a love for Science and History, often captivating others with his knowledge and curiosity about the world. His fearless spirit and passion for life’s pleasures left an indelible mark on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
He is survived by his father Reverend ML (Josephine) Brown of Roland, Oklahoma; his three (3) children: Steven (Andrena) Brown of Kansas City, MO., Sara Brown of Fort Smith, AR., and Chris Brown of Wichita, Kansas. His nine (9) grandchildren; his siblings: Pamela Williams of Roland, Oklahoma; Roxie Beachem Ford of Fort Smith, Arkansas and Lisa Beachem of Roland, OK., and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
