In profound sadness, the staff of Veasley Funeral Home & Cremations, Inc. want to express our sincere condolences to the Johnson Family. Wa-Li's earthly temple is now resting in the care of Veasley Funeral Home. Revelations 21:4 says, "And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death; nor sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain, for the former things are passed away." Be assured that in the days ahead you will surely gain strength from the memories of Wa-Li Johnson.

Wa-Li Jevois Johnson was born May 20, 1980 to Larry and Sonja Johnson in Little Rock, Arkansas. He professed his hope in Christ at an early age. At the age of 13, he met Kimberly Campbell and in their union, six children were born, LaJim, 26, Wa-Li, 23, Wesley, 19, Sonja, 18, Ka-Li, 16, and Messiyah Johnson, 10. One grandchild, Ayra Arnold, 1. He loved traveling, football, long walks, and most of all his children.


Wa-Li is preceded in death by his mother, Sonja Johnson; brother, Olins Johnson and grandparents.


Wa-Li leaves to cherish his loving memory, father, Larry Johnson; two brothers, Quinton Ezeagwula and Quran Johnson both of Little Rock, Arkansas; two sisters, Tyra Johnson and Serenitee Waits both of Little Rock, Arkansas; two nephews, special cousin, Robert Cooley, III and a host of aunts, uncles, relatives and friends.


Visitation for family and friends will be held, Friday, May 24, 2023, from 5:00pm-6:00pm at Tear Down The Walls Apostolic Ministries, 10600 Train Station Dr., Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103.


Celebration of life service will be held Saturday, May 25, 2024, 10:00am at Tear Down The Walls Apostolic Ministries, 10600 Train Station Dr., Mabelvale, Arkansas 72103.


Committal service and final resting place will be held at Arkansas Memorial Gardens Cemetery, North Little Rock, Arkansas.
